Representative Cases
- Successful 1 week trial in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of NY wherein a 10 person jury unanimously rendered a “no cause” as to liability in a case involving a police report which found the accident to be the fault of both drivers and plaintiff alleged injuries/damages including, but not limited to, cervical fusion, continuing neck and back complaints and limitations which resulted in a prescription drug addiction which led to the loss of custody of her child and inability to work in any capacity.
- Successful 1 week damages only trial in the U.S. District Court of New Jersey wherein a 8 person jury unanimously rendered a $25,000 award to a plaintiff who alleged injuries, including, but not limited to, fusion surgery, from an accident for which defendants admitted liability. As the verdict was less then defendants’ offer of judgment, the court awarded defendants trial costs and attorneys’ fees resulting in a set off against the jury award and judgment rendered against plaintiff.
- Successful summary judgment motion as to liability in a multi vehicle accident .
- Successful summary judgment motion as to liability in a low hanging wire case resulting in property damage to the wire and pole owner.
